Caravana 2026 successfully concluded with a strong atmosphere and satisfied exhibitors

Caravana 2026 at WTC Expo Leeuwarden looks back on a successful edition where atmosphere and content took center stage. Both visitors and exhibitors described it as a positive and friendly trade fair, with plenty of focus on inspiration, socializing, and business contact. This year, Caravana welcomed a total of 34.000 visitors from across the country.
Due to the wintry weather, visitor numbers were lower than usual on Wednesday and Thursday. From Friday onward, the crowds increased significantly, and the weekend was, as usual, lively on the exhibition floor. The offerings, activities, and exhibitors' dedication ensured a smooth flow throughout the exhibition days.
Wide range of campsites and destinations
Caravana 2026 presented a large and diverse selection of campsites and destinations from the Netherlands and abroad. Feedback from previous edition visitors was explicitly incorporated. These improvements were visibly appreciated. Visitors generated targeted ideas, while exhibitors reported meaningful discussions and valuable connections.
Lots to do besides the camping offer
In addition to campers, caravans, trailer tents, and accessories, there was a varied program. The Presentation Square attracted a lot of interest with sessions on camping, travel, and destinations. Activities such as The Caravana All-Rounder en The Camper Zingo contributed to the atmosphere on the trade fair floor. Families visited the fair in large numbers: the Caravana Scavenger Hunt was done by many children and it Children's Square was especially busy during the weekend.
Activity on the trading floor
There was also a lot going on at the stands. There were many demonstrations and Camp to Go provided live recordings of Camp to Go Talks from the trade show floor, along with Sander Janson and several guests from the camping industry. The public watched the filming on-site, creating an extra buzz at the stands.

The organizers are looking ahead to Caravana 2027, which will take place from January 27 to 31, 2027, at WTC Expo Leeuwarden. Preparations have begun, and the first exhibitor registrations have already been received. This underscores the industry's confidence and continued interest in Caravana as the starting point for the camping season in the Northern Netherlands.
