Offersøy camping Helgeland

Camping on the Norwegian coast with beautiful views!

Offersøy camping Helgeland is a campsite in Tjøtta Norway. The campsite is located in the county of Nordland on the beautiful coastal route Nasjonal Turistveg Helgeland or Fv17. This route goes from Steinkjer to Bodø. The campsite is located 8 km from Tjøtta and 28 km from Sandnessjøen. The campsite is open from 1 April to 15 October. There is room for 35 campers/caravans, all places with the possibility of electricity and most places on the water. There are two tent fields, 13 cabins for rent for 2-6/8 persons, except for 1 cabin they have their own shower, toilet and kitchen. Most cabins have a sea view. Service building with 6 showers and 7 toilets a small kitchen and washing machine and dryer. We rent 7 boats with fishfinder and navigation and rent bicycles. In the high season we have a small kiosk, where we sell ice cream, soft drinks and hot pizza for take-away.

In the area you can visit several islands by bike or car, including Vega, Dønna, Herøy, climb the famous mountain range syv søstre (seven sisters), but also many other climbing and hiking opportunities. We regularly see moose on or near the campsite, porpoises and the sea eagle. In the early and late season the northern lights are clearly visible. The campsite is suitable to visit on the route to and from the North Cape or the Lofoten, but the area is also very suitable for a longer stay.
