Successful Caravana 2025 edition attracts thousands of visitors
Caravana 2025 in the WTC Expo Leeuwarden was once again a successful edition. No less than 37.000 visitors from all over the country found their way to the largest camping fair in the Northern Netherlands.
Crowds at Camping Street, Camping Squares and presentations
The Campingstraat and the Campingpleinen were well-attended by camping enthusiasts who were inspired for their next holiday destination. The many exhibitors gave extensive advice and offered attractive trade fair offers. The Presentation Square also saw a large influx of interested parties, with speakers and experts having their hands full answering questions and sharing knowledge. The various lectures and demonstrations attracted a large audience, which confirmed the great interest in the latest developments within the camping sector.
Glamping Square and Producers Square attract interest
The Glampingplein, where luxury camping was central, was well received. Visitors were introduced to various glamping accommodations, which caused a lot of enthusiasm. The new Producer Square also attracted a lot of attention, with many interested visitors who wanted to know more about the design possibilities and customization in the field of camper construction.
Parking and atmosphere
Parking went very smoothly this edition, partly thanks to the use of free shuttle buses and the completed construction work around the WTC Expo complex. In contrast to other locations in the country, parking in Leeuwarden is free. What was also reflected everywhere, was the positive, cozy and friendly atmosphere. Visitors indicated that this atmosphere made the fair extra attractive.
Successful sales on the trade fair floor
During the fair, the 'sold' sign could be placed on various campers, caravans, folding trailers and other camping equipment, which underlines the appeal of Caravana as a platform for the camping sector. Visitors gratefully took advantage of the opportunity to make a purchase directly or to receive personal advice from the dealers, suppliers and manufacturers present. The fair also offered an excellent opportunity to view the latest models up close.
